The Fire Within
The Importance of Self-Motivation

Duration: 2 days

Employees within the hospitality industry work with at least two sets of bosses, viz. their manager and their guest. The dynamics of the second boss, the guest, changes with each individual and employees eventually serve countless personalities. Add to this, multiple egos of colleagues, strenuous work hours, time-bound service deliveries, reliance on subsidiary departments, etc and you have a ticking time-bomb.

Hospitality Paradigm’s two day workshop on self-motivation delves into the new-age manager’s need to motivate himself or herself and also their team, by differentiating between extrinsic & intrinsic motivation styles, satisfiers & dissatisfiers, as well as achievement, power & affiliation motivation.

The session helps participants introspect on their fire within, i.e. passion which must be stoked by themselves in order to self-motivate themselves to perform.
